November 25, 2025

The Director General of the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP), Dr. Obiageli Amadiobi, in her continued efforts to maintain a good working relationship with the multinational companies in Nigeria, was a guest at the just held Maltina Teacher of the Year Award, held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.

Speaking at the event, which industrial giants graced, the Director General said that for the speedy development of the nation, agencies must collaborate to share ideas and strengthen each other’s identified areas of weakness. She noted that the era of organizations working in silo without sharing ideas and thoughts with other organizations is gone. Dr. Amadiobi emphasized that NOTAP found a good working partner in the Nigerian Breweries and will continue to support them in any way within the ambit of the law.

She commended the Nigerian Breweries for the sustained hosting of the Maltina Teacher of the Year Award, adding that it was an incredible way of promoting hard work for enhanced productivity. The DG congratulated the winners for their efforts and encouraged them not to relent in their efforts to ensure the growth of education in Nigeria. The Director General noted that the Nigerian Breweries expended a huge amount of money in rewarding/encouraging the Nigerian teachers as the winner of the programme pocketed the sum of N10 million, the first runner-up went home with the sum of N5 million, and the second runner-up N3 million, respectively.
